Jianit, champion of Aeropress in 2019, represented us at the Aeropress World Championship, and a couple of weeks ago, he won the second place in the barista championship organized by BCN COFFEE AWARDS. He tells us that the importance of competing is not about knowing but about diving into new discoveries through barista competitions.
That’s why we’ve designed this monographic course where Jianit will teach you all his techniques and strategies to prepare optimally for an Aeropress competition, just as he did last year, preparing a competitor who achieved first place in Catalonia. In this monographic, he will come to explain to us the secrets of becoming a great competitor!
What does the course include?
- Jianit will share his experience in the world championship: the challenges he faced and what impacted him the most in these national competitions.
- He will also explain the variables to consider when creating an Aeropress recipe.
- We will practice with different variables that affect the preparation of a recipe, such as water type, grinder type, filter type, etc.
- Finally, Jianit will give us a demonstration of some of his most relevant discoveries with the Aeropress.
